An intense, deep and elegant red wine from the Kakheti region, made from the local Saperavi grape. The wine is fermented in the traditional qvevri method and then aged for about 18 months in French oak barrels (partly new), which gives it structure, soft tannins and subtle spices. The aroma is dominated by black plums, cherries, blackberries, dark chocolate and black pepper, and the taste is long, rich, with a harmoniously blending elegance of oak.

The number "22" of this wine has a symbolic meaning - it is dedicated to the winemaker's father, expressing respect and paternal heritage. It is produced in small batches, using hand-picked grapes and combining old Georgian traditions with modern aging.

About the manufacturer

Giorgi Solomnishvili is the owner of a small, family-owned vineyard in Telavi (Kakheti). His philosophy is authenticity, respect for the land, and a gentle, sensitive aesthetic of winemaking.
