About the manufacturer
Aalto Bodegas y Viñedos was founded in 1999 by two prominent figures in Spanish winemaking – legendary winemaker Mariano García, who worked as technical director at Vega Sicilia for over 30 years, and Javier Zaccagnini, one of the founders of Ribera del Duero DO and former head of the appellation's regulatory council. Their goal was to create a winery capable of competing with the best producers in the world while preserving the authentic character of Ribera del Duero.
