The aroma reveals ripe yellow fruits, pears, peaches, hazelnuts, and delicate floral notes. On the palate, the wine is concentrated, yet it retains a refreshing acidity and a chalky minerality. The 2022 vintage is characterized by mature fruit, elegance, and an excellent balance between richness and freshness.

About the manufacturer
Domaine André Bonhomme is one of the most important names in the Viré-Clessé appellation. The estate was founded in 1956 by André Bonhomme and his wife Gisèle, starting with just 4 hectares of vineyards. André Bonhomme became one of the most influential figures in the Mâconnais region – he was one of the founders of the independent winemakers' movement in the Saône-et-Loire region and contributed to the official recognition of the Viré-Clessé appellation. Today, the estate is managed by the third generation of the family – Aurélien Palthey.
The winery's philosophy is based on organic viticulture, low yields, and respect for the terroir. Chardonnay vines grown in calcareous clay soils produce concentrated, long-lived, and mineral wines, which are considered benchmark wines throughout the Mâconnais region.
