This Brut Nature opens with very direct and precise aromas: green apple peel, lemon zest, grapefruit and clean citrus tones mingle beautifully with a light background of brioche, toast and almonds. On the palate, the wine is lively and energetic, with extremely pure, very fine bubbles. The mid-palate offers citrus and green fruit, supported by a bright, almost "chalky" minerality that lends extra crispness and precision. The finish is long and clean, with more lemon zest, green apple and a dry, gastronomic ending.

About the manufacturer
André Clouet is one of those exceptional Champagne houses that build their reputation and style not on vast production or global marketing, but through continuous work with terroir and vineyards. The family is closely associated with the vineyards of the Montagne de Reims region, where Pinot Noir is the main variety, and the chalk and limestone soil (albariza) gives the Champagnes a special structure, intense fruitiness, and a mineral backbone. The house is distinguished by growing most of its grapes in its own vineyards rather than buying them elsewhere – this allows them to remain very close to the land, the climate, and the voices of the years.
One of the most important figures who shaped the voice and style of this house is Jean-François Clouet. He is the third-generation family winemaker/cellar master who continues the tradition of focusing on purity, precision, and the organic expression of the place. Jean-François Clouet emphasizes that Champagne must be natural and precise, so he uses minimal interventions in the cellar, reduces the impact of oak or sugar, and instead allows the wine to develop through long aging on lees. His approach is one of respect for the place and the years, not just for a consistent "house signature," but for a clear terroir voice that resonates in every sip of Champagne.
