This is a very distinctive, Pinot Noir-dominant Champagne. The aroma reveals red berries – strawberries, cherries, raspberries – along with ripe apples, citrus zest, and subtle brioche and yeast notes. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with gentle yet energetic acidity and fine, elegant bubbles. The taste combines fruitiness with a mineral "chalky" backbone, and the finish is dry, long, and slightly toasty, with a subtle bread crust and a refreshing red fruit character

About the manufacturer
André Clouet is one of those exceptional Champagne houses that build their reputation and style not on massive production or global marketing, but through continuous work with terroir and vineyards. The family is closely associated with the vineyards of the Montagne de Reims region, where Pinot Noir is the main variety, and the chalk and limestone soil (albariza) gives the Champagnes a special structure, intense fruitiness, and a mineral backbone. The house is distinguished by growing most of its grapes in its own vineyards, rather than buying them elsewhere – this allows them to remain very close to the land, climate, and the voice of the years. One of the most important people who shaped the voice and style of this house is Jean-François Clouet. He is a third-generation family winemaker/cellar master who continues the tradition of focusing on purity, precision, and organic expression of the place. Jean-François Clouet emphasizes that Champagne must be natural and precise, so he uses minimal interventions in the cellar, reduces the impact of oak or sugar, and instead allows the wine to develop through long aging on its lees. His approach is one of respect for the place and the years, not just a consistent "house signature," but also a clear terroir voice that resonates in every sip of Champagne.
