The aroma reveals lemon, green apple, white flowers, and subtle notes of white peaches, complemented by hints of toasted almonds, brioche, marzipan, and butter cake. On the palate, the champagne is very "vertical" and mineral – the acidity is bright yet elegant, the bubbles fine and creamy. The Chouilly terroir lends more roundness and softness than the stricter styles of Avize or Le Mesnil, keeping this Blanc de Blancs very harmonious: citrus, saline chalk, toasted nuts, and a long, refreshing finish blend into a very gastronomic style.

About the manufacturer

AR Lenoble was founded in 1920 by Armand-Raphaël Graser. His father, Joseph, had fled his native Alsace region to escape the Germans, arriving on foot in Épernay, Champagne, where his wife Alice was from. After the First World War, Armand-Raphaël decided to start a champagne business, but felt that a German-sounding surname would not be well received at the time. He therefore created the name "Lenoble" as a tribute to the noble character of champagne wines, while retaining his initials "AR" – Armand-Raphaël. More than 100 years and four generations later, the house remains independent and family-owned, and is today run by Antoine and Anne Malassagne, Armand-Raphaël's great-grandchildren.
