  • 100% Tinta de Toro
  • Red dry wine, aged in oak barrels

A legendary wine from the Toro region and the ultimate expression of Bodega Numanthia, made exclusively from old Tinta de Toro vines. The aroma reveals intense notes of black fruits – blackberries, blackcurrants, blueberries – complemented by violet flowers, cloves, liquorice, cocoa, tobacco, leather, and graphite. The taste is extremely concentrated, rich, and complex, yet it maintains elegance – a powerful fruit extract balanced by vibrant acidity and velvety, exceptionally well-integrated tannins. The finish is very long, with notes of black fruits, spices, forest floor, and minerals.

About the manufacturer

Bodega Numanthia is one of the most famous wineries in the Toro region, founded in 1998 in the village of Valdefinjas, in the Castile and León region. The winery is named after the ancient Celtiberian city of Numancia – a city that long resisted the Roman Empire and became a symbol of resilience and strength. The main element of Numanthia's philosophy is its old Tinta de Toro vineyards. These vines are often 50–120 years old, growing in a dry climate, in sandy and stony soils, which allowed some of them to survive the phylloxera crisis. Low yields and the natural concentration of the vines give the wines exceptional intensity.
