The aroma reveals notes of cherry, black plum, blackberry, Mediterranean herbs, cocoa, and subtle mineral tones. The taste is rich, yet exceptionally harmonious – silky tannins, vibrant acidity, and perfectly integrated oak create a long, elegant finish. Despite the warm vintage, the wine maintains exceptional balance and freshness.

About the manufacturer

Bodegas La Horra is a project of the prestigious Rioja winery Bodegas RODA, launched in 2009 in the Ribera del Duero region. The winery was founded by RODA's executives, Mario Rotllant and Agustín Santolaya, with the aim of creating Ribera del Duero wines that possess the same elegance and expression of terroir for which RODA Rioja wines are renowned. The project was born in the village of La Horra, one of the best areas in the province of Burgos, where old Tempranillo vines grow in limestone-clay soils. The winery's philosophy is based on the meticulous selection of old vineyards, manual harvesting, and minimal intervention in the winemaking process. Corimbo is produced from 25–30-year-old bush vines grown in La Horra, Roa, and surrounding villages. Today, the technical team is led by Agustín Santolaya, one of Spain's most respected winemakers, whose goal is to craft elegant, long-lived Ribera del Duero wines where power is less important than balance, freshness, and an authentic expression of the region. Due to this approach, Corimbo is now considered one of the best Ribera del Duero wines in its price category and consistently receives high ratings from international critics.
