This champagne is rich, complex and in the signature Bollinger style. The aroma reveals notes of baked apple, pear, citrus peel and toasted brioche and nuts. The taste is dry, structured and quite "winey", with a creamy texture and very fine, elegant bubbles. There is a light spice, a little honey and toasted tones, which transition into a long, harmonious aftertaste with nuances of citrus and pastries. This version is a limited edition, created to celebrate the long-standing partnership between Bollinger and James Bond - over 40 years. The champagne itself is a classic Special Cuvée , but comes in a collector's box with a 007 design.

About the manufacturer

Bollinger is one of the most prestigious Champagne houses, founded in 1829 and still family-run. They are famous for their distinctive style, dominated by Pinot Noir - which gives the champagnes more structure, body and depth than many other Champagne producers. The house has a large number of its own Grand and Premier Cru vineyards, which allows for quality control from grape to bottle.
Lily Bollinger – the woman who created a legend Lily Bollinger (Elisabeth “Lily” Bollinger) was one of the most influential women in the history of Champagne. After the death of her husband Jacques Bollinger in 1941, she took over the management of the house during World War II, a very difficult period. Despite the difficulties, she not only maintained Bollinger’s reputation, but also strengthened it by actively traveling the world, presenting the champagne herself and building its prestige internationally. Known for her charisma, strong character and total dedication to quality – even in her old age, she would visit the vineyards herself by bicycle. Lily Bollinger believed that champagne should not only be a symbol of luxury, but also part of the joy of life. Her most famous phrase has become a legend in the Champagne world: "I drink champagne when I'm happy and when I'm sad. Sometimes I drink it when I'm alone. When I have company, I consider it a must. I play with it when I'm not hungry, and I drink it when I am. Otherwise, I don't touch it... unless I'm thirsty."
