The 2025 vintage in the Loire Valley was characterized by a fresh, cool climate, which allowed for the preservation of vibrant acidity and a delicate aromatic profile. The aroma reveals notes of citrus – lemon and grapefruit – hints of green apple, and light floral and marine mineral tones. On the palate, the wine is dry, very fresh, and light, with bright acidity and a clean, crisp character. A subtle salinity and minerality, characteristic of the Muscadet region, are present. The finish is fresh, clean, and elegant, with lingering citrus nuances.
About the manufacturer
Domaine Bonnet-Huteau is a family-run estate with a history spanning several generations in the Loire Valley. They are among the proponents of more natural, sustainable viticulture in the Muscadet region, farming organically and biodynamically. Their philosophy is based on respect for nature, minimal intervention, and the aim to authentically reflect the terroir – from the soil to the influence of the climate.
The winery works with different soil types – granite, gneiss, and sandy structures, which allows them to create Muscadet wines of diverse character. Great attention is paid to vineyard work and the natural fermentation process, resulting in wines that are pure, vibrant, and clearly express their origin.
