About the manufacturer
Braida di Giacomo Bologna is one of Piedmont's most renowned wineries, located in the village of Rocchetta Tanaro. While Braida is most famous today for its legendary Barbera wines, it was Giacomo Bologna who fundamentally changed the world's perception of the Barbera grape in the second half of the 20th century, demonstrating that it could produce world-class, long-lived wines. Today, the winery is run by his children, Raffaella and Giuseppe Bologna, who continue the family philosophy of creating authentic Piedmontese wines that combine tradition and innovation.
