On the nose, the wine is very clean and a classic Kamptal Riesling style: citrus peel (lemon, lime), green apple, white peach and a hint of apricot. This is complemented by delicate herbs (verbena, thyme) and a prominent stony, flinty, and wet limestone note.

On the palate, it is dry, tense, and exceptionally fresh, with a clear acidity that gives the wine energy and length. The fruit is more citrus and stone fruit, with a subtle texture in the mid-palate from short lees contact. The finish is long, saline, and mineral, with a light peppery and herbaceous undertone. The wine is very well balanced between fruitiness and structure, making it enjoyable when young but with the potential to develop over several years.
