Ca’ La Bionda Casalvegri Valpolicella Classico Superiore DOC 2022 0.75 l

Veneto region, historic Valpolicella Classico zone red wine, made from a single “Casalvegri” vineyard harvest. The grapes grow at 150–300 m above sea level, in clay and limestone soil rich in stones. The wine is aged for 18 months in large, 3000-litre oak tuns. Unlike Amarone, it is made from fresh, unraisined grapes. The aroma reveals notes of forest berries, spices, and delicate rose petals. The palate is complex and full-bodied, yet retains freshness, an elegant structure, and noticeable, softly gripping tannins. This is a more mature Valpolicella, in which the fruit concentration pairs with minerality and a long finish.
