This is a traditional Valpolicella Ripasso style red wine, in which blend ripe cherry, dark berry and plum aromas, complemented by dried herbs and sweet spice notes. Its distinctiveness lies in the ripasso production method: young Valpolicella wine is re-fermented on the Amarone and Recioto production grape skins, which provide additional color, aromas, and structure. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and rich, yet retains a fresh acidity, soft tannins, and an elegant balance. Despite its intense fruitiness, it is completely dry, and the longer finish reveals spices and ripe cherry flavors.

Ca’ La Bionda – a family winery founded in the village of Valgatara, in the historic Valpolicella Classico region. The producer pays great attention to traditional local grape varieties, organic viticulture, and preserving the character of the region. Their philosophy is not to create heavy, oak-aged wines, but rather wines in which richness harmonizes with freshness and elegance. “Malavoglia” perfectly reflects this approach: the traditional production method gives the wine depth, while preserving a lively fruitiness and the subtle spiciness characteristic of Italian wine.
