About the manufacturer
Bodega Casa Los Frailes is a Spanish winery located in the DO Valencia region, in the Terres dels Alforins area. Their approach is to combine classic and local grape varieties, using ecological and biodynamic methods to express the terroir of their calcareous soils. The winery aims for each of its wines to be a pure expression: "the soil, the plant, and the final bottle must speak."
The Velázquez family's history in this region spans several generations – today, the vineyards are cultivated at an altitude of approximately 650 meters in calcareous soil, and the winery combines traditional grape varieties with modern organic farming practices. The "Viña de la Era" vineyard is dedicated to a blend of three varieties: Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat, and Verdil – thus creating a wine that is a "trilogy" in the performance of these varieties.
