The aroma is dominated by wild strawberries, cherries, dried roses, pink peppercorns, and subtle herbal notes. The taste is light-bodied, with bright acidity, soft tannins, and a refreshing, mineral finish. Recommended to be served slightly chilled.
About the manufacturer
Caves São João is one of Portugal's most historic wineries, founded in 1920 in the Bairrada region. The producer is renowned for its long-aged Bairrada and Dão wines and one of the largest collections of old Portuguese wines. By creating Baga Novo Nat'Cool, Caves São João combined its century-old traditions with the Nat'Cool philosophy initiated by Dirk Niepoort – to create light, refreshing, low-intervention wines for everyday enjoyment.
