The aroma opens with dried fruits, red berries, sweet spices, and subtle oak notes. Extended aging lends nuances of toasted bread, vanilla, and light nuts, yet the vibrant fruitiness of Pinot Noir remains. The taste is dry, exceptionally rich and elegant, with fine, silky bubbles. Red fruits, candied citrus peel, toasted almonds, and brioche are perceptible. The finish is long, concentrated, and harmonious, with minerality, subtle woody notes, and an expressive Pinot Noir structure.
About the manufacturer
Champagne Cuperly is a family winery whose history began in 1845 in the village of Verzy Grand Cru, in the Montagne de Reims region. The house specializes in Grand Cru champagnes and places great emphasis on long aging and traditional winemaking. One of their distinguishing features is the Verzy Merrain oak barrels, made from wood from local forests, which subtly enrich the texture and complexity of the wines. The Prestige series reflects Cuperly's highest craftsmanship – each cuvée is aged for 5 to 10 years to create elegant and long-lasting champagnes.
