The aroma opens with hawthorn blossoms, white flowers, ripe pears, and apples, complemented by notes of brioche, marzipan, toasted bread, and a hint of honey. The aroma is elegant, mature, and perfectly balanced. The taste is dry, extremely elegant and creamy, with fine, long-lasting bubbles. Citrus, yellow apples, peaches, and ripe pears are present, complemented by buttery buns, toasted nuts, and a light mineral note. The aftertaste is long, harmonious, and refreshing.

About the manufacturer
Champagne Deutz was founded in 1838 in the Grand Cru village of Aÿ by two wine producers – William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann. From the very beginning, their goal was to create champagnes of impeccable quality, so they established close relationships with the best Champagne growers. Today, Deutz belongs to the prestigious Roederer Collection group, yet maintains an independent identity and an elegant, precise house style. Since 2022, Cellar Master Caroline Latrive has been responsible for the Champagne Deutz house style – one of the most respected winemakers of the modern Champagne generation. Born in Reims into a family of winemakers, she completed her enology studies in 1999, worked at Bollinger, and then spent fifteen years at Champagne Ayala, where she served as Cellar Master from 2012. Moving to Deutz, Caroline took over the work of long-time Cellar Master Michel Davesne after a carefully planned transition period. Her philosophy is based on elegance, precision, and respect for terroir – she seeks to preserve the classic Deutz style, while subtly enriching it with her sensitivity to Chardonnay and highly precise art of assemblage.
