The aroma opens with wild strawberries, cherries, raspberries, and redcurrants, complemented by subtle notes of brioche, citrus peel, and chalk. The aroma remains fresh, fruity, and elegant. The taste is dry, very fresh, and juicy, with fine, delicate bubbles. Notes of strawberries, cherries, raspberries, citrus, and light toasted bread are present. The finish is long, creamy, and mineral, with bright acidity and an elegant red fruit character.

About the manufacturer
Champagne Doyard-Mahé is a family winery established in 1927 in the village of Vertus Premier Cru, in the southern part of the Côte des Blancs. Today, it is managed by Carole Doyard, a fourth-generation winemaker who continues the family traditions. The winery owns about 6 hectares of vineyards and primarily specializes in Chardonnay-based champagnes. The estate practices sustainable viticulture (VDC and HVE certified), with the main goal of accurately conveying the character of the Vertus chalky terroir.
While the majority of Doyard-Mahé cuvées are Blanc de Blancs, the Rosé Vertus Premier Cru stands out with a subtle addition of Pinot Noir, which provides more fruitiness and structure while maintaining the elegance and minerality characteristic of the house.
