The aroma opens with notes of lemon, mandarins, yellow peaches, and white flowers, complemented by brioche, vanilla, toasted almonds, and subtle wood. As it lingers in the glass, chalky minerality and light spice tones emerge. The taste is exceptionally elegant, silky, and concentrated, with fine, persistent bubbles. Citrus, yellow fruits, brioche, sweet almonds, and subtle toasted pastry notes are discernible. The finish is long, fresh, and mineral, with prominent chalk and citrus notes.

About the manufacturer

Duval-Leroy was founded in 1859 in the village of Vertus, uniting the families of Jules Duval and Edouard Leroy. It is one of the few Champagne houses that remain independent and family-owned to this day. For the past few decades, it was led by Carol Duval-Leroy, who became one of the most influential women in the history of Champagne. After her husband's death, she took over the family business and transformed it into one of the most respected Champagne houses, focusing heavily on quality, sustainability, and innovation. Today, the winery is run by her sons Julien, Charles, and Louis Duval-Leroy, who continue the family traditions. Duval-Leroy is known for its responsible approach to the environment – it was one of the first Champagne houses to receive the Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) certification and produce a certified organic Brut Champagne.
