The aroma opens with white flowers, acacia, chamomile, green apples, lemon and grapefruit, complemented by notes of white peach, almonds, hazelnuts, warm bread and chalk. Subtle hints of light smokiness and minerality are present. The taste is dry, very elegant and concentrated. Notes of lemon zest, apple, white fruits, brioche, almond paste and light spices are felt. The texture is creamy, yet maintains bright freshness and energy. The aftertaste is long, chalky, salty and mineral, with subtle nuances of citrus bitterness.

About the manufacturer
Champagne Henriet-Bazin is a family winery with a history dating back to 1890. Located in the village of Villers-Marmery in the Montagne de Reims region, it focuses on expressing its terroir. The family works with individual plots, old vines, and natural viticulture methods to ensure that each cuvée tells the story of its place.
Marie-Amélie is one of Henriet-Bazin's most special cuvées, produced only in the best years when the old Chardonnay vines can show their full concentration. This champagne is interesting because it reveals a different side of Montagne de Reims – not the power of Pinot Noir, but the elegance, minerality, and subtlety of Chardonnay.
