The aroma opens with lemon, grapefruit, pear, and white blossoms, complemented by notes of honey, brioche, toasted nuts, and light spices. Over time, notes of chalk, wet stone, and subtle wild herb tones emerge in the glass, lending exceptional depth to the aroma. The taste is extremely concentrated, precise, and energetic, with silky bubbles and bright citrus acidity. Grapefruit, lemon, pear, white peaches, and subtle vanilla brioche notes are perceptible. The finish is exceptionally long, salty, and mineral, with hints of chalk and iodine that underscore the uniqueness of this single vineyard.

About the manufacturer
Lanson is one of the oldest Champagne houses, founded in Reims in 1760. For over 260 years, it has cultivated a distinctive style based on long aging, respect for terroir, and the preservation of natural freshness. One of the house's key characteristics is its refusal to perform malolactic fermentation, which gives Lanson Champagnes exceptional energy and longevity. Noble Vintage is Lanson's most prestigious cuvée, produced only in the best vintage years from carefully selected Grand Cru vineyards. Only first-press juice is used here, and long aging allows for the creation of a Champagne that combines exceptional concentration, elegance, and chalky minerality. 2012 is considered one of the best Champagne vintages of recent decades, giving this wine immense aging potential.
