The aroma opens with notes of brioche, fresh bread crust, marzipan, honey, cinnamon, and liquorice, complemented by ripe apple, pear, citrus, and subtle toasted nut tones. Mineral notes evoke chalk and wet stone. The taste is rich, creamy, and highly concentrated, yet maintains Lanson's characteristic freshness. Ripe apples, peaches, apricots, citrus, brioche, and toasted nuts are discernible. The finish is long, mineral, and lively, with fresh citrus acidity and a subtle chalky saltiness.

Lanson – one of the oldest Champagne houses, founded in Reims in 1760.
