The aroma opens with white peaches, pears, citrus peel, and ripe stone fruits, complemented by notes of brioche, toasted almonds, hazelnuts, and subtle chalk. Extended aging adds additional complexity and maturity to the aroma. The taste is dry, extremely elegant, and precise, with fine, creamy bubbles. Citrus, yellow apples, pears, and white peaches are discernible, complemented by notes of toasted brioche, almonds, and a light touch of sea salt. The finish is long, mineral, and harmonious, with a distinct chalky texture and refreshing acidity.

About the manufacturer
Champagne Louis Barthélémy traces its origins back to 1923, when the Baudry Lebrun & Cie champagne house was founded in Épernay. Its current chapter began in 2002, when Jean Barthélémy Chancel, a member of the well-known Château Val Joanis family from the Rhône Valley, acquired the winery. His goal was to create a modern Champagne style that expressed the terroir, focusing not on quantity but on precise work with carefully selected grapes.
