The aroma opens with clementines, bergamot, lemons, and kumquats, complemented by notes of dried fruit, buttery pastries, roasted nuts, and subtle spices. The aroma is mature, yet maintains freshness and precision. The taste is dry, exceptionally elegant, and creamy, with fine, silky bubbles. Citrus, yellow fruits, almonds, brioche, and light roasted coffee notes are present. The finish is long, mineral, and harmonious, with refreshing acidity and a subtle bitterness of citrus zest
About the manufacturer
The Champagne Michel Genet family winery was founded in 1960 by Michel Genet in the Grand Cru village of Chouilly. Today, it is managed by his children – Agnès, Antoine, and Vincent Genet – who cultivate approximately 10.5 hectares of vineyards across more than 40 plots in the villages of Chouilly and Cramant. The focus is primarily on Chardonnay, and sustainable viticulture practices are employed in the vineyards, including soil tilling, maintaining natural ground cover, and integrated pest management.
