The aroma opens with lemon, yellow apple, white peach, and pear, later revealing notes of buttery brioche, fresh bread crust, butter, and white flowers. In the background, there's a chalky and wet stone minerality. The taste is dry, fresh, and elegant, with fine, creamy bubbles and bright citrus acidity. Citrus, white stone fruits, a light hint of almond and brioche are perceptible, while the long finish retains chalky minerality and a fresh citrus note. This is a champagne where the fruitiness of Chardonnay and the characteristic precision of Côte des Blancs perfectly combine.

About the manufacturer
Champagne Philippe Gonet is a family-run winery whose history dates back to the early 19th century, and today it is managed by the seventh generation of the Gonet family. The winery's home is located in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger – one of the most famous Grand Cru villages in Côte des Blancs, where the chalky soil is considered ideal for the Chardonnay grape variety.
The Gonet family believes that great champagne does not begin in the cellar, but in the vineyard. Therefore, each plot is cared for with its individuality in mind, the soil is nurtured with sustainable methods, and winemaking aims to minimally overshadow the natural terroir character. Their champagnes are renowned for elegance, freshness, and a distinct mineral expression – qualities that have defined the style of the Philippe Gonet house for many years.
