The aroma opens with notes of lemon, white peaches, pear, and elderflower, complemented by hints of cinnamon, brioche, toasted almonds, and a chalky minerality. The taste is exceptionally elegant and harmonious, featuring fine, creamy bubbles and vibrant citrus acidity. Flavors of fresh citrus, white peaches, ripe apples, and subtle buttery brioche are present. The finish is long, rich, and mineral-driven, with a distinctive chalky salinity and a perfect balance between the freshness of Chardonnay and the structure of Pinot Noir.

Prélude Grands Crus is one of Taittinger's most important non-vintage prestige champagnes. It is made exclusively from Grand Cru vineyards, where Chardonnay provides elegance and minerality, while Pinot Noir offers structure and depth. Long aging in the cellars allows this champagne to maintain exceptional freshness while revealing rich aromatic complexity and significant gastronomic potential.

About the manufacturer

Taittinger is one of the few great Champagne houses that still belongs to the same family. Since 1932, the Taittinger family has cultivated an elegant, Chardonnay-dominant style, and today the winery is led by Vitalie Taittinger, representing the fourth generation of the family. She believes that champagne should not only reflect its terroir but also evoke emotion. Due to her artistic background, Vitalie pays great attention to aesthetics, architecture, culture, and storytelling – on her initiative, the historic Taittinger mansion in Reims was renovated, a new visitor experience was created, and the ArsNova cultural initiative was established, supporting art, music, and gastronomy. Her philosophy is perfectly encapsulated by the thought: "Our mission is to create happiness." Today, Vitalie is considered one of the brightest leaders of the new generation in Champagne, successfully combining family traditions with a modern approach to winemaking.
