The aroma opens with wild strawberries, raspberries, redcurrants, and cherries, complemented by rose petals, citrus zest, brioche, and a light almond note. In the background, there's a chalky, salty Chouilly minerality. The taste is dry, very fresh and elegant, with fine, creamy bubbles. Red berries, blood orange, pink grapefruit, and subtle citrus acidity dominate. In the mid-palate, a soft texture emerges from aging on lees, and the finish is long, salty, and mineral with a clean ending.

About the manufacturer
Vazart-Coquart & Fils is a family winery in the Chouilly Grand Cru village, whose history began in the early 20th century. Today, it is run by Jean-Pierre Vazart, a third-generation winemaker who believes that Chardonnay's greatest potential is revealed not through technology, but through patience and respect for the soil. The family has been farming organically for many years, and since 2020, all their vineyards have been certified organic. Each plot is vinified separately to preserve its individual character, and long aging on lees with very low dosage allows the purity of Chouilly's chalk terroir to shine through.
