The aroma opens with wild strawberries, raspberries, redcurrants, and cherries, complemented by rose petals, citrus zest, brioche, and a light note of toasted almonds. In the background, the characteristic chalky minerality of Côte des Blancs persists. The taste is dry, elegant, and very refreshing, with fine, creamy bubbles. Red berries, blood orange, pink grapefruit, and subtle brioche tones from aging on lees dominate. The finish is long, fresh, and mineral, with an excellent balance between the elegance of Chardonnay and the fruitiness of Pinot Noir.

About the manufacturer
Veuve Fourny & Fils is a family-owned winery in the village of Vertus Premier Cru, with a history dating back to the 19th century. Today, it is run by brothers Charles-Henry and Emmanuel Fourny, who are continuing the family traditions as the fifth generation. They believe that great champagne is born in the vineyard, so they pay a lot of attention to the care of old Chardonnay vines, sustainable farming, and the individuality of each plot. Work in the cellar is extremely delicate – some wines are fermented in old barrels, and the goal is always the same: to preserve the purity, elegance, and minerality of the Côte des Blancs chalky terroir. Due to this precise style, Veuve Fourny is considered one of the best "grower Champagne" family wineries in Champagne today.
