Château Fuissé is one of the historic benchmarks of the Mâconnais region. The estate has belonged to the Vincent family since 1862, and today it is managed by the fifth generation of the family – winemaker Antoine Vincent. The estate owns about 40 hectares of vineyards and is considered one of the most important ambassadors of Pouilly-Fuissé in the world. The winery's philosophy is based on detailed work in individual plots and respect for the terroir. Château Fuissé was one of the most active in ensuring that the best Pouilly-Fuissé vineyards received Premier Cru status, and "Le Clos" became one of the symbolic examples of this historic change. Today, this wine is considered the flagship and one of the most prestigious Chardonnays of the entire appellation.
