An exceptional single-vintage (millésime) Calvados, characterized by elegance and the complexity of maturity. The aroma reveals baked apples, vanilla, caramel, dried fruits, pepper, and subtle woody notes. The taste is silky and harmonious, combining apple fruitiness, spices, toasted wood, and a long, refined finish.

This Calvados Pays d'Auge was distilled in 1973 using the traditional double distillation method in copper Charentais-type stills. Since distillation, it has been aged in oak barrels that previously held only Calvados, and the barrels are periodically replenished with cider to maintain fruitiness and balance. Millésime indicates the year of distillation, meaning all the distillate is from a single vintage.
