  • Champagne France
  • 50% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Noir, 25% Meunier
  • Matured in oak barrels
  • 12.5%

50% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Noir and 25% Pinot Meunier, from different Collard-Picard vineyards (especially the Côte des Blancs Grand Cru plots for Chardonnay and the Marne Valley for Pinot Noir/Meunier). Perpétuelle is made to preserve its natural acidity and elegance: fermentation without malolactic fermentation, much of the wine is aged in large oak barrels, followed by long aging on lees before bottling – usually at least 4 years.

On the nose and palate,  Perpétuelle offers pure, concentrated lemon and fruit aromas, along with brioche/pâtisserie nuances, subtle minerality and a clean, elegant acidity. The bubble texture is fine and consistent, and the finish is long-lasting, revealing the charm of aging on lees and the composition of many years of reserves.

About the manufacturer

A family story that began in the Marne Valley, where viticulture has been passed down from generation to generation. The Collard family had long grown grapes and supplied them to the great Champagne houses, but only at the end of the 20th century did they decide to take an independent path. When the Collard and Picard families merged, the ambition was born to create not a mass, but a very personal Champagne - one that would reflect their own vineyards, handwork and timeless elegance. This is a small but very conscious family farm, where the most important thing is not quantity, but character and continuity.
Their philosophy is based on patience, respect for time and the life of the vineyard. Collard-Picard believes that good Champagne is born first in the vineyard, so great attention is paid to the soil, balanced harvest and natural ripening. In the cellar they prefer slow, precise work: long maturation, accumulation of reserve wines. Their wines are never noisy or aggressive - it is a Champagne that speaks calmly, delicately, but very confidently, showing the family's attitude: true quality is born when there is no rush and time is allowed to do its work.
