Contucci Rosso Montepulciano DOC 2022

Contucci is one of the oldest and most consistently operating winemaking families in the heart of Montepulciano. Having started growing grapes as early as the 11th century and having actively contributed to the formation of the reputation of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano in the 18th century, this family is still one of the most important guardians of the region's traditions. The wines are aged in authentic 13th century cellars, whose aura is filled with history, and next to them stands the magnificent Baroque Palazzo Contucci - designed by Antonio da Sangallo the Elder and frescoed by Andrea Pozzo in 1701-1703. It is not only a wine house, but also a living testimony to culture and heritage, where the history, art and winemaking skills of Montepulciano are intertwined.
