About the manufacturer

Damilano is one of the oldest Barolo wineries, whose history began in 1890 when Giuseppe Borgogno started growing grapes and making wine in the La Morra area. Today, the winery is managed by the Damilano family, who own some of the most famous Barolo crus – Cannubi, Brunate, Cerequio, Liste, and Ravera. The family's philosophy is based on respect for the terroir, diligent work in the vineyard, and combining tradition with modern winemaking. While Damilano is world-renowned for its Barolo wines, Langhe Arneis reveals another side of Piedmont. Arneis, often called "white Barolo," is a historic Roero variety characterized by elegance, subtle fruitiness, and minerality. This wine is crafted to highlight the pure character of the grape and is an excellent example of how Damilano masterfully creates both prestigious red and refined white wines.
