The year 2022 in the Maipo Valley was characterized by a well-balanced climate – enough sun for the grapes to ripen, and enough coolness at night to preserve vibrant acidity and aromatic precision. Such conditions helped Carménère maintain a bright aromatic expression and structure without excessive ripeness.
The aroma is dominated by black plums, blackberries, and blackcurrants, along with characteristic Carménère notes of green pepper, herbs, dried grass, and light spice tones.
On the palate, the wine is dry, medium-bodied, with well-integrated acidity and soft, yet structured tannins. The fruit character is clear and clean, with a longer finish, featuring subtle hints of herbs, pepper, and minerality, which highlight the specificity of Carménère.
