2024 in Chile was characterized by favorable growing conditions – sufficient sun for ripening, but also cooler nights, especially in the cooler Casablanca and Leyda Valleys. This combination of climates helps Chardonnay maintain bright acidity and aromatic vitality. The aroma is dominated by green apples, lemon, pear, and a delicate hint of peach, along with subtle floral and stony minerality notes.
The wine is dry, medium-bodied, with clear acidity that provides freshness and structure. The finish is clean and harmonious – fruit flavors are balanced with a light creaminess and subtle oak spices that add depth to the wine without making it heavy.
About the manufacturer
De Martino Winery is a family-owned company founded in 1934 by Pietro De Martino, an immigrant from Italy, who created ideal conditions for producing wines in the Maipo Valley.
