2023 was a year of well-balanced climate in Chile - a warmer day provided fruitiness, while cool night temperatures preserved acidity and aromatic vitality. These conditions helped Chardonnay maintain a crisp structure and aromatic precision without excessive ripeness. The aroma intertwines green apples, lemon zest, pear, and white peaches, accompanied by subtle floral notes, honey, and a light stony minerality.

On the palate, the wine is dry, medium-to-full-bodied, with a vibrant yet balanced acidity that provides energy and a clear structural framework. The texture is creamy but not heavy, and the finish is long and harmonious, with a continuation of fruit flavors and subtle hints of spice that emphasize the expression of the terroir.

About the manufacturer

De Martino Winery is a family-owned company founded in 1934 by Pietro De Martino, an immigrant from Italy, who created ideal conditions for producing wines in the Maipo Valley. The winery consistently invests in organic winemaking and sustainable farming to reveal the diversity of Chilean regions and the authentic expression of their terroir. Winemakers constantly travel to different areas of Chile, searching for unique plots for individual, exclusive wine production, aiming to prove that Chile can produce wines of the highest quality. De Martino was the first to export Carmenere wine abroad in 1996, and currently, their single-vineyard wines consistently receive high praise from wine critics, enthusiasts, and professionals alike.
