This is one of Chile's iconic "old vine" wines, clearly showcasing the character of the Maule Valley. The aroma is dominated by black cherries, blackberries, and blackcurrants, alongside notes of smoke, earth, graphite, wild herbs, and spices. On the palate, the wine is dry, medium-to-full-bodied, with bright, lively acidity and firm yet elegant tannins that provide structure and aging potential. The finish is long, complex, with a mineral, slightly "smoky" and earthy character.

About the manufacturer
De Martino Winery is a family-owned company founded in 1934 by Pietro De Martino, an immigrant from Italy, who created ideal conditions for producing wines in the Maipo Valley. The winery consistently invests in organic winemaking and sustainable farming to reveal the diversity of Chilean regions and the authentic expression of their terroir. Winemakers constantly travel to different areas of Chile, searching for unique plots for individual, exclusive wine production, aiming to prove that Chile can produce wines of the highest quality. De Martino was the first to export Carmenere wine abroad in 1996, and currently, their single-vineyard wines consistently receive high praise from wine critics, enthusiasts, and professionals alike.
