Italy – a temperamental, charmingly chaotic, and incredibly rich wine country, nurturing over 2000 years of winemaking history. From the foothills of the Alps in the north to sunny Sicily in the south – each region here has its own character, unique grapes, and an intriguing story.

However, for beginners, Italian labels can be a real puzzle. DOC, DOCG, IGT, long names, and historical allusions – how not to get lost? And then there are the famous classification scandals and ambitious Tuscan winemakers who brought global fame to Italy.
On March 28, we invite you to a tasting dedicated to those who want to understand the secrets of Italian wine. The evening program includes:

        •    A journey through the regions: From the cool north to the hot south.
        •    A systematic look: Simply and clearly about appellations and DOCG classification.
        •    Behind the scenes of history: From ancient traditions to bold winemaking experiments.
        •    A harmony of flavors: We will taste different wines, pairing them with specially selected snacks.

Embark on a journey with certified sommelier, Ugnė Mažutaitytė, the soul of Gaston House.
