    Language shapes our reality. But the way we talk about wine has created a world that for many seems like an exclusive club, speaking in obscure jargon and unwilling to accept newcomers. The current language of wine is constantly criticized for deterring people from wine rather than bringing them together. Communication specialist and independent sommelier Ieva Elvyra Kazakevičiūtė invites you to a tasting – a study, where, with the help of the wines tasted, we will explore the world of wine from another perspective: we will find out what the language of wine is and how it affects our feelings and opinions about wine.

    Ieva Elvyra Kazakevičiūtė is a communication specialist and wine storyteller (WSET III Award in Wines), who speaks at her tastings the way she would have liked to be spoken to: without snobbery and without the concept of "stupid" questions. Wine without snobbery is a world of wine where curiosity is more important than status.
