The Burgundy wine region is experiencing a golden age, a holy grail and benchmark for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. Interest in this wine region is enormous; the quality and prices of some wines are rising annually. New micro-wineries are appearing so rapidly that it's impossible to keep up with acquiring and tasting everything, and this region dominates the top ten most expensive wines without competition.
 
However, there is a huge difference in both quality and price between the cheapest and simplest wine and the most expensive and unique wine – not all wines from this region exhibit the uniqueness and magic that has captivated the wine world, and it follows that the trendiness of Burgundy wine also brings disappointments.
 
We invite you to a tasting where we will discuss what the Burgundy region is, what makes it unique, and what determines the differences in price, quality, and uniqueness. How to choose a good and delicious Burgundy wine? And we will taste delicious, good, and perhaps somewhat unique or magical wine.
 
Andrius Pagojus, a beverage expert who has worked at "Vyno klubas" for 15 years, a Burgundy enthusiast, and a collector of wine and stories, will talk about wine history and selected wines .
During the tasting, we will sample mature Burgundy wine vintages from the "Wine Club" assortment, a collection accumulated at the "Gaston" store.
