Aromas: blackcurrant (cassis), blackberry, plum, along with notes of black pepper, liquorice, olives, leather, smoke and graphite. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, firm and structured, with strong yet ripe tannins and good acidity. The taste is concentrated – black fruits, pepper, smoke and the mineral "stony" energy characteristic of Cornas wines. The finish is long, dry and slightly wild – with hints of spice, black fruit and graphite that linger.

Delas Frères is a historic Rhône Valley producer, founded in the 19th century and now owned by the Deutz/Champagne group (Louis Roederer). Since the 1990s, Delas has embraced a revitalized modern style, focusing on precise wines that emphasize terroir expression.
