The aroma reveals ripe pears, quinces, honey, dried fruits, with light notes of tobacco and smoke. On the palate, the wine is rich, concentrated, and silky in texture, yet maintains freshness and distinct minerality. The finish is long, elegant, and complex. The 2018 vintage is characterized by mature fruitiness and excellent aging potential – about 7–10 years.

Les Éléments is a wine for which grapes are selected from several biodynamically farmed plots around the village of Beblenheim. Calcareous loam soils predominate, which give the Pinot Gris richness while retaining elegant acidity and distinct minerality. The climate of this area allows the grapes to reach perfect ripeness without losing freshness.

About the manufacturer

The history of Domaine Bott-Geyl begins in 1795, when Jean-Martin Geyl started cultivating grapes in Beblenheim. The current owner, Jean-Christophe Bott, has continued the family tradition since 1993, and in 2000, the entire estate was converted to organic farming, and since 2002, to biodynamic. Today, the winery manages about 16 hectares of vineyards, including six Grand Cru plots, and is considered one of the leaders in biodynamic winemaking in Alsace. Its philosophy is to convey the character of each terroir as accurately as possible, applying minimal intervention in the cellar and allowing the wines to express themselves naturally.
