The aroma is dominated by pomegranates, red currants, strawberries and cherries, along with Mediterranean herbs and a light peppery note. On the palate, the wine is light to medium-bodied, very lively and juicy, with bright acidity and soft tannins. The taste reveals sour cherries, pomegranate juice, raspberries and a subtle mineral streak. The finish is fresh and dry.

About the manufacturer
Domaine d’Ansignan is a small project in the Roussillon region, linked to the renowned southern French winemaker Jeff Carrel, known for his more natural, less manipulated wine style and very clear terroir philosophy. The estate operates organically and sustainably, focusing on older vines and the mineral soils of the southern French hills.
"Les Grenadines" perfectly reflects the contemporary direction of southern France: less heavy oak and extraction, more freshness, energy, and drinkability. This wine is deliberately crafted not for "power," but for enjoyment — which is why it is often recommended to be served slightly chilled.
