The aroma features prominent raspberries (as reflected in the name), redcurrants, cherries, and subtle notes of spice and light oak.
On the palate, the wine is juicy, medium-bodied, with silky tannins and a rather lively acidity.
The 2021 vintage in Mercurey often exhibits cooler, more precise fruit, making "La Framboisière" feel more elegant than maximally ripe.

About the manufacturer
Domaine Faiveley is one of Burgundy's oldest and largest family-owned wineries, founded in Nuits-Saint-Georges in 1825 and still managed by the same family. Over nearly two centuries, it has grown from a négociant trading house into a significant vineyard owner with plots across the region – from Chablis to Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune, and even Côte Chalonnaise. Faiveley is particularly renowned for its Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards and a meticulous balance between tradition and modern Burgundian winemaking: greater precision in the vineyard, cleaner fruit expression, and moderate oak usage. Today, it is one of Burgundy's benchmark names, combining history, scale, and high-quality control.
