Aromas: lemon, yellow peach, green apple, wet stone, light smoky minerality.
Palate: a very tense, powerful and precise Riesling, with bright acidity and intense granite minerality.

“Roche Granitique” means “granite rock” - a direct reference to the soil in which the vines grow.
The grapes mostly come from the slopes of Brand near Turckheim, where the granite heats up quickly, allowing Riesling to reach full ripeness while maintaining acidity.

About the manufacturer

Domaine Zind-Humbrecht is one of the most important names in Alsace wine, considered a leader in the biodynamic movement in France. The estate was shaped by the Humbrecht family (from 1950–60), and today it is managed by Olivier Humbrecht – France's first MW (Master of Wine). The winery is renowned for its extremely low intervention, late harvest, and very terroir-centric style, especially in its Riesling and Pinot Gris wines.
