The aroma reveals citrus, white peach, white flowers, and notes of chalk and wet stone. On the palate, the wine is dry, elegant, and very mineral, with bright, mature acidity and a long, refreshing finish. Chardonnay provides structure and tension, while Auxerrois adds a touch of roundness and fruitiness.
About the manufacturer
Domaine Zind-Humbrecht is one of Alsace's most renowned wine estates, formed in 1959 by the merger of the Zind and Humbrecht families. Olivier Humbrecht, who heads the estate, became France's first Master of Wine and one of the leaders in biodynamic winemaking in Europe. The winery is known for its deep respect for terroir, natural fermentations, and long-lived, precise white wines, which are considered some of the best examples from Alsace.
