A light, fresh, and juicy red wine, created according to the Nat Cool philosophy – lower alcohol, more freshness, and an easy-drinking style. The aroma is dominated by cherries, raspberries, cranberries, wild herbs, and subtle spice notes. The taste is vibrant, with soft tannins, bright acidity, and a refreshing, fruity finish. Excellent when served lightly chilled.
About the manufacturer
Espera is a project by Portuguese winemaker Rodrigo Simão Martins, located in the Alcobaça region, north of Lisbon. Rodrigo works with organically farmed vineyards and follows a philosophy of minimal intervention – spontaneous fermentation, indigenous yeasts, and as little technological interference as possible. His goal is to create refreshing, authentic wines that convey the character of the Atlantic climate, chalky soil, and local grape varieties. Espera Nat Cool is part of the international Nat Cool project initiated by Dirk Niepoort, dedicated to light, natural, and easy-drinking 1-liter wines.
