This dry white wine is characterized by its refreshing and elegant style. The aroma is dominated by notes of citrus and exotic fruits such as orange and pineapple, complemented by hints of honey and apricot. On the palate, the wine is round, fruity, yet subtle and lively, with a touch of spice.
The wine is fermented and aged in large oak barrels (foudres) using natural yeasts. Malolactic fermentation is only partially stopped. Aging lasts about 9 months on the lees, which gives the wine additional complexity and texture.

About the manufacturer
François Villard is a former chef who discovered his passion for wine at a young age. In 1989, he founded his winery in the Northern Rhône region, aiming to create wines that accurately reflect the local terroir and the character of the indigenous grape varieties. Villard is renowned for his meticulous work in the vineyard and cellar: each wine is carefully monitored from harvest to aging, preserving the natural purity and elegance of the grapes. He combines traditional Northern Rhône methods with modern techniques, striving for harmony between taste, structure, and aroma.

François Villard believes that wine should tell a story – about the land, the climate, and the skill of the human hand. The producer works sustainably, protecting the soil, biodiversity, and ecosystem balance. He uses minimal intervention, natural yeasts, and long aging on the lees to preserve the wine's authenticity. Villard aims for his wines to be not only technically perfect but also emotionally engaging and elegant, conveying the spirit of the region and the sophistication of modern winemaking.
