The aroma reveals acacia blossoms, sage, meadow grasses, ripe pears, yellow apples, and citrus notes, complemented by subtle nuances of almond, sandalwood, and linden blossom. The taste is fresh yet rich and silky in texture – minerality, vibrant acidity, and a long, elegant finish give the wine exceptional sophistication.

About the manufacturer
Franz Haas – one of Alto Adige's most prestigious family wineries, whose history began in 1880 in the village of Montagna (Mazon). Seven generations of the Haas family have cultivated winemaking traditions, and each firstborn inherits not only the estate but also the name Franz Haas. The winery's reputation was significantly shaped by Franz Haas VII, who, after studying at Geisenheim University in Germany, transformed the family estate into one of Italy's most prominent producers of quality wines. His philosophy was simple – the highest quality wine is born first in the vineyard, and the winemaker's task is to precisely convey the character of the terroir.
Today, the winery is run by the Haas family together with long-time head winemaker Stefano Tiefenthaler. Although the name Franz Haas is most often associated with some of Italy's best Pinot Noir, the winery dedicates the same meticulous care to its white wines. Grapes are harvested from high-altitude vineyards in Alto Adige and Trentino, located at an elevation of 300–800 meters above sea level. Calcareous dolomitic soils, significant diurnal temperature variations, and the family's long-standing experience allow for the creation of elegant, precise, and long-lived wines, which are today considered some of the best in the entire Alto Adige region.
